The Foundation began keeping formal appearance records in 2019. Every year since, the Sun has appeared on every day it was scheduled to appear. The Foundation does not claim sole credit for this. It claims the record.

What we measure, and why we measure it.
Appearance
Whether the Sun rose. Confirmed visually each morning, logged, initialed, and archived. It is the only metric the public can independently audit, which is why we lead with it.
Activity
Meetings convened, briefings delivered, frameworks ratified. The Foundation regards documented activity as the leading indicator of eventual outcome, and has structured its reporting accordingly.
Awareness
How many people have been informed that the Sun is finite. Measured by campaign reach and, where reach cannot be measured, by conviction.
Readiness
Flashlights inventoried, contingency protocols drafted, executives briefed before dusk. Readiness does not alter the solar lifecycle and has never been presented as though it does.
